FM platinum coins are 90% pure platinum.
Jon R. Warren
The Franklin Mint issued many coins for sovereign nations, and of those, a significant number were made of platinum rather than gold or silver. Also, in its Eyewitness Medals series, The Franklin Mint produced several so-called "mini" coins made from platinum. And finally in a few rare cases they made a very limited number of large coin sets made of platinum. These platinum coins are valued like other platinum bullion coins, they are worth a percentage of the metals value. They do not have "rarity" or "collector" or "numismatic" value.
